The California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA) allows alternative bidding procedures that can lead to benefits like increased force account limits, informal bidding for projects between $45,001 and $175,000 which do not require advertising, reduced number of formal bids, and expedited contracting for small projects. Now with PQBids new features, school districts, public agencies, and contractors can all benefit from a streamlined prequalification process for CUPCCAA projects.
